1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to collect anonymous data about how the site is used. We also include other similar technologies (such as local storage and pixel tags) under the term “cookies” in this policy.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function. They include cookies that remember the contents of your in-progress enquiry, store a draft artwork file in your browser’s local storage, and keep your session secure. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies because the site would not work without them.
Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) in production to understand which pages are popular and where visitors come from. Analytics is loaded only in our live environment and aggregates data without identifying individual users.
Marketing
We do not currently run third-party advertising cookies on this website. If that ever changes we will update this page and ask for your consent before any marketing cookies are set.
3. Local storage and IndexedDB
To keep your enquiry safe across page reloads, we save the draft line items, your contact details, and any uploaded artwork files in your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB. These are stored on your device, not on our servers, and are cleared when you submit the enquiry or click “clear draft”.
4. How to control cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site from working — the enquiry modal will not be able to remember your draft, for example. You can find browser-specific instructions on aboutcookies.org.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if we add or remove cookies from the site. The version date at the top of this page reflects when it was last reviewed.
6. Contact
Any questions about cookies on this site can be sent to info@personalised-cups.co.uk or on 01642 615757.
